UoA Machine Learning Seminars

The Machine Learning Seminar is a regular event that aims to promote machine learning research. It provides a forum to present recent advancements, share ideas and discuss new research directions in machine learning. In the seminars, we host international and New Zealand-based experts from industry and academia. They are open for anyone with an interest in theoretical and applied machine learning. The seminars are both hosted at the University of Auckland and virtualy.

Machine Learning Student Seminars

Do you find yourself wondering what great research is being done in our group? Our ML Student Seminar series is intended to give us all a chance to see and hear about what others work on and thereby gives the chance to identify where collaboration is possible. For the students, this is a great chance to present their work and get some feedback and ideas.

AI Reading Group

The AI Reading Group hosts bi-weekly reading groups where members present and discuss papers on topics in broad categories, such as AI ethics, machine learning, natural language processing, selection bias and computer vision. Come and join us in the discussion of ideas and seminal papers in AI Research to understand current developments and debates in the field!
